l Integrated T1 CSU functionality with FCC registration for direct connection to
T1 lines
l B8ZS or AMI encoding and SF (D4) or ESF framing
l Local, line and payload loopbacks
l Framing and coding conversion between T1 ports
l Flexible system clock timing, which may be derived from or provided to any T1
l Up to eight Quad T1 Service cards plus the four ports from the DS1 Controller in
a single Axxius 800 for a total of 36 DS1s/CSUs per chassis
l Full non-blocking Digital Cross-connection System (DCS) of all timeslots to any
Axxius Service card
l ESF performance reporting
l Payload and line loopback
l Secondary solid-state fuseless protection to lightning and AC power cross
